Agatha Christie's Marple Series 3

Agatha Christie's Marple Series 3 Review

As seen on the PBS Mystery! series

Though they might be fooled by her delicate exterior, criminals underestimate Agatha Christie's mild-mannered spinster sleuth at their peril! In the expert care of acclaimed actress Geraldine McEwan (Vanity Fair, The Magdalene Sisters), the beloved Miss Marple takes on new vibrance as a "worldly lady with a past, full of fun and mischief" (London Times).

Opening with a Bond-style action sequence, the 2005 Disney Channel Original Movie Kim Possible: So the Drama finds our heroine attempting to foil Drakken's most insidious plot yet. What can he possibly want with robots from Nakasumi Toys (the company from the series' first episode, "Crush"), Dr. Possible's cybertronic technology, creepy syntho-drones, and the latest teen fads? Kim's used to fighting Drakken; the bigger problem is finding a date to the prom, or--worse--going with Ron, who's so not that kind of friend. Enter the new guy in school, Eric, who's cute enough to inspire cootie alerts. But that means no more hanging out with Ron, who's also having major issues with Bueno Nacho's new management. Hang-ups aside, the two friends will have to figure out a way to save the world one more time, leading to the debut of a spankin'-new outfit and a surprise ending. So the Drama marks the end of Disney's Kim Possible series. For its cool adventures, its nifty gadgets, its hip wit, and a teen heroine that appeals to both youngsters and oldsters, it will be missed. --David Horiuchi Kim Possible is ready to save the world (again) in this action-packed, seriously exciting adventure. Miss Christy's Dance Adventure

Miss Christy's Dance Adventure Review

Miss Christy's Dance Adventure Feature

  • Dance instructor Christy Curtis leads the way in this introductory dance program , which is geared towards children between the ages of 2 and 6. The corner stones of dance -- ballet, jazz, and tap -- are all briefly covered, and steps for each form are taught through exciting, simple-to-follow instruction. Format: DVD MOVIE Genre: CHILDREN Rating: NR Age: 018713534767 UPC
This video serves as an introduction to basic dance. The moves shown are meant to be simple and fun. The cast consists of Miss Christy (Christine Curtis, choreographer and children's dance specialist), Tapper the scarecrow, and a variety of young boys and girls. Miss Christy and the group use the settings of a beach, a lily pond, and a farm to teach three different styles of dance: jazz, ballet, and tap. Dance is a great way to introduce children to music and rhythm, and to stimulate their motor skills. This video has a lot to offer in these areas; however, sometimes when Miss Christy is showing steps, her feet are blocked from view. This is a video for the child who has not yet taken any dance--its approach is very basic. Kids at home are encouraged to join in and participate in engaging and imaginative ways. The tap and jazz section includes boys, while the ballet portion is geared just to girls. Adults might find the music somewhat uninspired, but the kids seem to like it. (Ages 2 to 6) --Peggy Maltby-Etra Children love to dance, and for those 2 to 6 years old, there s no better time to introduce them to basic dance moves to help them develop natural rhythm, motor skills and musicality, in addition to an active imagination.

Join children s dance specialist Christy Curtis and her amazing group of children, Ballone the Butterfly and Tapper the Scarecrow as they go to a lily pond, to the beach and to a farm. At each setting, your child will learn fun dance moves characteristic of the three main forms of dance: ballet, musical theatre (jazz) and tap.

Watch your child s natural rhythm and self expression come to life over and over again with this entertaining and unique video program.
